Originally established in 2013, Tuolumne Rancheria Fire Department put on its first California State accredited program EMT Training Course in coordination with Black Oak Casino Resort. In 2024 we began developing plans to provide EMS training to the community. January of 2026 we received the keys to what would soon be the Ma’u:sh’ Hoye’to' EMS Training Center in Tuolumne CA.

Ma’u:sh’ Hoye’to’ in Native Me-Wuk refers to the Safety-First Place, spoken as - “mah-oosh | hoy-eh-toh”
